Webinar: E-invoicing the Dutch government

Home / Headlines / Webinar: E-invoicing the Dutch government

At the Invoicing Congress in April, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs announced that, by the end of 2018, all government departments and agencies that buy in goods or services must be capable of receiving e-invoices. Before that, the government will this year amend its General Terms and Conditions to require all suppliers to submit e-invoices. Simplerinvoicing will be one of the three e-invoice formats that can be accepted. As of 1 January 2017 all (new) suppliers of the Dutch Government Administration (Rijksoverheid) when renewing their purchasing agreement with the government are required to send e-invoices. In time municipalities, provinces and water boards will also demand e-invoices.
